In 2003, the residents of downtown Providence created The Downtown Neighborhood Alliance to represent the interests of people who call this neighborhood their home. We work together to make downtown safer, cleaner, and more enjoyable for everyone while enhancing the area's overall image and quality of life.

We champion our residents' concerns regarding issues such as parking, safety, historical preservation, street lighting, and incoming merchant opportunities, as well as offer a social outlet through which downtown residents can meet and mingle with their fellow neighbors.
